Essential Responsibilities

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• MSWfrom aCSWE-accredited institution
• Doctorate in Social Work or a related field; ABDs will be considered, but must complete all degree requirements by July 1, 2024
• Two-five years of post-MSWteaching experience
• Two years post-MSW social work practice experience

\ Preferred Qualifications

• Five years of post-MSWteaching experience is preferred.
• Five years of post-MSWsocial work practice experience is preferred.
• Preference will be given to applicants whose backgrounds, experience, research interests, and expertise have prepared them to contribute to the social justice mission of the Social Work Department.
• For consideration at the rank of Assistant Professor, the preferred applicant will have begun to establish a publication record and demonstrate the potential to continue to contribute to the scholarly research base of the field and secure external funding to support their research agenda. For consideration of a higher rank, the applicant must have a well-established record of publications and scholarship and a demonstrated ability to secure external research funding.
