Responsibilities:

  • Administer IBM Maximo system by creating user accounts and configuring user permissions to ensure secure access and adherence to organizational policies and procedures

  • Hardens DoD systems by applying hot fixes, patches, updates, and DISA STIGs

  • Manages accounts, permissions, & access rights in accordance with best-practices regarding privacy, security, and regulatory compliance

  • Assists in developing and enforcing security/IA processes and standards

  • Assists in responding to security breaches, service interruptions, and other critical situations

  • Generate and analyze weekly backup reports to verify completeness, detect failures, and optimize backup performance

  • Manage Red Hat Linux servers using Yum package manager

  • Execute updates to ensure system security, stability, and performance optimization

  • Address and resolve trouble tickets to maintain system functionality and user satisfaction

  • Develop user application training, as well as training on system backup for ABS users

  • Document training and include it in the Weekly Status Report (CDRL A/B/C/D/E004)

  • Document status of training conducted by the contractor for ABS users/ shall include the number of training sessions held in the previous week, type of trainings, number of attendees, length of sessions, and any training sessions planned within the upcoming quarter

  • Position is based onsite and not a remote one

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT related field desired

  • Two plus years of similar experience

  • Sec+ certification or similar

  • Experience with training desired

  • Active Security clearance
