Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Director, Supply Planning & Reporting - Commercial Products in Troy, New York

The Director of Supply Planning & Reporting at IOPS is responsible for maximizing supply chain efficiency and effectiveness in meeting the demands of a rapidly growing production operation. The Director is responsible for providing leadership and direction for planning. This position establishes standards and practices for a model supply chain, including developing policies, procedures and techniques that are consistent with the strategic IOPS direction and sound principles of supply chain management.

As a Director of Supply Planning & Reporting a typical day might include the following:

  • Provides direction for Supply Chain Planning & Reporting teams including Supply Products, Supply Integration and Supply Networks.

  • Works with cross-functional team on planning product to ensure effective and disciplined planning of materials to meet requirements as defined by program development (commercial, clinical and independent) by consistently achieving customer orders.

  • Actively seeks creative supply solutions to optimize Supply Planning & Reporting across the IOPS organization.

  • Drives continuous improvements initiatives; enhances planning development by communicating performance standards, developing joint improvement initiatives, actively soliciting formal feedback and creating business process flow diagrams to identify opportunities to optimize planning.

  • Works closely with Commercial, Clinical, CMC-PM, Finance, QA, QC, Procurement and Manufacturing to create and manage Demand and Supply; aligned with the company’s overall objectives and timelines.

  • Creates and publishes metrics to evaluate overall plan/process effectiveness; accurately produces regular metrics reports on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis that drive positive results, get to root cause and roll up to annual IOPS goals.

  • Maintains awareness of current industry standards, trends and practices.

  • Assists Senior Director with regular operational meetings, goal setting and mid-year/year-end reporting; represents as needed or performs other activities as required by the business.

  • Provides coaching to direct reports, including employee development plans, and fosters a healthy work environment where employees feel valued and respected.

  • Promotes the achievement of corporate goals and objectives.

  • Embraces and promotes the IOPS culture of The Regeneron Way.

  • The position will require domestic and international travel, approximately 20-30% of the time.

In order to be considered for this position, you must hold a bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or Science background and

  • Associate Director: 10 years of experience in Supply Chain Management in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology environment, including prior management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Director: 12 years of experience in Supply Chain Management in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology environment, including prior management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • MS or MBA preferred.

  • APICS, ISM or ASQ professional certification strongly preferred, CPIM, CSCP, CPSM or CSSBB.

  • Prior cGMP regulated experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry a plus

Salary Range (annually)

$142,700.00 - $277,100.00
