The Department of Psychology at Russell Sage College (RSC) invites potential candidates to apply for a full-time, tenure-track position as Assistant or Associate Professor, effective Fall 2025. The primary responsibility for this position will be teaching in the graduate M.A. in Mental Health Counseling and Community Psychology programs, both in person and online. New faculty may also be provided opportunities to supervise interns, develop practicum and internship sites, participate in student recruitment, and even the possibility of teaching undergraduate courses. The successful candidate will also have a program of scholarship.

The estimated base academic year salary for this position is $60,000 commensurate with experience.

Job Requirements:

The successful candidate will possess a Doctorate in Counseling or Clinical Psychology and have an interest in interdisciplinary collaboration around issues of health and wellness across the lifespan from a community perspective with a particular focus on underserved populations. A background in multicultural counseling and online course development is especially welcome. Preference will be given to graduates of APA accredited doctoral programs and internships. Candidates should be licensed or license-eligible in New York State.
