Iconma Logistics Process Analyst in Troy, Michigan

  • This position is responsible for supply chain services, inventory control, critical parts availability, material handling. planning and implementing logistics optimization projects.
  • Logistics Process Analyst will be responsible for enhancing performance and reducing inefficiencies, by streamlining operations and identifying the best way to use Client's resources to achieve goals.

  • Provide data analysis for production planning and volume studies and participates in process/rating improvement efforts.
  • Plan and implement Kaizen (Continuous Improvements) processes and efficiencies by developing and improving warehouse methods, industrial technology, and other factors.
  • Establish productive working relationships and help foster trusting relationships with vendors, customers, and all teammates across many departments and locations.
  • Collaborate with IT Professionals to implement effective systems and solutions.
  • Create, implement, and evaluate KPIs to improve resources and productivity.
  • Create and implement Schedules and plans in a timely manner.
  • Risk analysis and identification of risk mitigation actions.
  • Conduct service and customer data analysis to create and propose ideas to improve future products (voice of customer analysis and front-loading activities).
  • Mentor and develop team leaders and warehouse staff with new processes.
  • Lean process system follow-up -- JIT; Standardized work chart, Layout optimization
  • Midterm plan Layout analysis
  • Reviews and update existing work instructions for WH processes
  • Assist with both internal and external audits.
  • Adhering to internal and external regulatory requirements
  • Recurrence Prevention activities (analysis, documentation, and reporting)
  • Capture and report on inventory discrepancies and issue resolutions.
  • Other special requests and projects as required

     

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor in a related trade field.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of managing logistics, warehousing, and supply chain activities with customers, suppliers, and third parties.
  • Extensive knowledge of logistics and processes.
  • Proficiency in the use of PC and Microsoft Office Applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio) is required.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage automotive OEM
  • Previous inspection or auditing experience preferred
  • Automotive industry documentation: PFMEA, Control Plan, Problem-solving, layered audits, QA Network (experience preferred), Occupational safety
  • IATF regulations
  • Language Skills: Proficient and fluent in English.
  • Math Ability: Ability to analyze data trends and represent it on charts.
