Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer (IDMC Consultant) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 6-8 years of experience in data warehousing, ETL development, and migration, with expertise in Informatica IDMC, Snowflake, Control-M, Python, and UNIX.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, transform, and load (ETL) data from diverse sources into Data Warehouses and Data Marts.
Implement warehousing architecture techniques such as Star Schema, Snowflake, and Control-M.
Adhere to the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including design, coding, configuration, testing, debugging, and documentation.
Perform data migration tasks, including exporting/importing existing content and reconfiguring data connectors for metadata rescans.
Conduct technical validations and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Participate in architecture design and code reviews.
Analyze functional requirements and design documents, providing constructive feedback.
Prepare technical design specifications based on business and functional requirements.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a collaborative environment.
Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications:
5-10 years of experience in ETL development and data warehousing.
Expertise in Informatica IDMC (Mandatory).
Strong knowledge of Oracle SQL, Data Warehousing, UNIX, and Control-M Scheduling Tools.
Experience in cloud-based data integration and migrations.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
