As a Prevention Coordinator in our Thomas Judd Care Center, you will play a key role in planning, implementing, and evaluating HIV prevention and intervention programs.
You will provide timely support and services to individuals who have recently been diagnosed with HIV, including helping clients access medical care, counseling, and resources to manage their condition effectively and improve their overall well-being.

What’s Required
• Associate degree in human service field or 3 years of paid or volunteer work experience in healthcare field.
• Owns or has eligibility to obtain Social Work Tech license through LARA.
• Commitment of obtaining Associate or Bachelor’s degree within 3 years of hire date.
• Certification as an HIV Case Manager and HIV Testing/Counseling through the State of Michigan MDCH HIV Care Section. Needs to be completed within first year of employment.
Complete Early Intervention Service training within first year of employment.
Experience with persons living with HIV/AIDS preferred, however, is not required.
Demonstrated oral and written communication skills with competency in Microsoft products.
