What You’ll Be Doing

As a student on our team, you will be responsible for working within the Private Wealth head office group; specifically on behalf of the Wealth Solutions Product Team. This position will play a support role with CIBC Private Banking, and CIBC Wood Gundy. The successful candidate is responsible for assisting the product management team with internal communications, updating advisor resource tools, including internal advisor resource sites.

You will primarily be responsible for supporting the Wood Gundy Registered Plan Sr. Manager with day-to-day product management activities, including development of tactical plans, administrative tasks, operational support and maintenance of tools and resources. The role applies professional analytical, communication, and application skills to assist in the execution of initiatives and production tasks.

How you'll succeed:

  • Client Journey Support: Support the Sr. Manager, Wood Gundy Registered Plans with the documentation, review and assessment of all the key registered savings & investment client journeys as required, to support a positive client experience, while adhering to regulatory requirements.

  • Self-planning skills sufficient to schedule, organize, and carry out work assignments according to established work plans, adjusting work schedules according to changing priorities.

  • Developed judgement and problem solving skills sufficient to interpret and/or analyze factual and conceptual information with the ability to interpret/adapt general procedures or approaches when formulating responses to problems/issues.

  • Developed working knowledge of computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint)

  • Ability to foster relationships and collaborate with key internal partners.
