Insight Global Software Engineer in Toronto, Ontario
Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Software Engineer to join a large, global technology client, sitting in their Toronto location. The successful candidate will be joining a group focused on research, building prototypes, and evaluating novel interactions from human experiences in virtual and augmented reality. The successful candidate will design, build, document, integrate, and support reusable software components for interactive experiences in AR/VR that leverage artificial intelligence. This role involves collaboration with researchers, designers, and software engineers. The candidate will have the ability to write clean and reliable code and be able to debug complex problems!

Skills and Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
BSc degree in Computer Science or related field
3+ years of experience with C++, Python, or Rust
Experience with applied machine learning (i.e. training and querying models)
Familiarity with app model and framework architectures
Experience shipping one or more products of high complexity using standard software development tool sets such as source control, unit testing and continuous integration
systems Experience with developing real-time interactive experiences
Experience with developing on a variety of platforms and frameworks (e.g. Android, iOS,
React, Alexa)
Experience with full stack web development and cloud computing services (e.g. AWS)
Experience working with novel/prototype hardware and/or wearable computing interfaces
Experience working in research teams null
