Senior Red Hat Linux Engineer
Job Description:
Insight Global is seeking an experienced Senior Red Hat Linux Engineer to join a large banking institution on a 6 month contract based position. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and expertise in managing and deploying Ansible across various operating system flavors, with a strong emphasis on scripting capabilities. Proficiency with Red Hat Enterprise Linux versions 7, 8, and 9 is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement changes to OpenShift infrastructure:
Modify YAML files and create Ansible playbooks.
Robust server support:
Provide reliable support for servers within the organization.
Problem-solving and deployment:
Deploy applications in an OS environment and resolve issues.
Collaborate with the tools team:
Work effectively with the tools team to drive problem resolution and contribute to the deployment of new technologies.
Requirements:
Senior-level experience in capital markets/banking is highly desirable.
Demonstrated expertise in Kubernetes and OpenShift.
Experience with Ansible, Ansible Playbooks
Experience:
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience;
Ability to commute into their downtown Toronto office twice a week
