We are seeking a talented Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in one of our Ohio offices .
The ideal candidate will need a good technical background, with the ability to multi task, and is excited about geotechnical engineering innovative and sustainable solutions to exceed our client’s needs and expectations.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the investigation and design of building foundations, earthen structures, and roadways
Collect and help interpret data through research, file reviews, field observations and measurements, field testing, and other methods
Assist in preparing detailed plans, technical specifications, and reports
Perform computations and process data using computer software or other established methods
Perform geotechnical laboratory analysis at our on-campus laboratory
Observe and document field activities and prepare construction documentation reports
Assist in preparing cost estimates for design implementation
Perform site inspections under the supervision of senior engineers
Demonstrate strong technical writing and communication skills
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited Institution, Master's Degree in Civil Engineering preferred
0-3 years of relevant work experience
EIT is desired, if not obtained, at least on track to obtain
CAD experience a plus
Strong calculation skills
The ability to interpret work plans
Must have a valid Driver’s License
