We're seeking a Senior Product Manager to join our JP Consumables team at Amazon. This role will own critical programs including Pricing Strategy, Climate Pledge Friendly program, and Basket Building programs. The ideal candidate will drive strategic initiatives while collaborating with multiple stakeholders across global teams to enhance customer experience and business growth in daily essential products.

Key job responsibilities

As Senior Product Manager for JP Consumables, you will lead three critical areas that drive our business growth and customer experience. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution across pricing, sustainability, and promotional initiatives.

In pricing strategy, you'll partner with our central pricing teams to develop and execute strategies specific to the Consumables business. This involves conducting detailed analysis for optimization, building comprehensive pricing roadmaps, and working closely with business teams to address market dynamics.

Leading our Climate Pledge Friendly (CPF) Program, you'll expand sustainable product initiatives in the Japanese market. Your responsibilities include managing relationships with environmental certification bodies, coordinating across Legal, PR, and Marketing teams, and ensuring program compliance while improving the visibility of eco-friendly products.

For Basket Building initiatives, you'll own our promotional programs, focusing on driving customer engagement and sales growth. This includes developing strategic roadmaps, coordinating with international teams, and partnering with Marketing to maximize program effectiveness. You'll continuously monitor and optimize performance metrics to meet business objectives.

The ideal candidate brings strong strategic thinking and execution capabilities, excelling in data-driven decision-making and cross-cultural communication. Business-level proficiency in both English and Japanese is essential, as is the ability to manage multiple complex programs simultaneously. Most importantly, you should possess strong negotiation skills and a customer-obsessed mindset that guides every decision and initiative.
