Position Overview

Autodesk is looking for a Customer Financial Services (CFS) Analyst based in Japan. Reporting to the Senior Manager of APAC Customer Financial Services , you will be involved in the quote-to-collect process of Autodesk.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of assigned accounts for Japan and other assigned regions whose payments to the company are past due

  • Contact past-due accounts for Japan (and other assigned regions) to arrange for payments while preserving the company’s business relationship with the account

  • Investigate and analyze credit risks, using available internet and credit agency tools and information

  • Determine the creditworthiness of customers and potential customers desiring to purchase the company’s products and services based upon evaluation of financial condition/ability to pay for such purchases

  • Work with dissatisfied customers to identify the nature of the problem relating to the company’s products and/or services and with company operations to arrange for appropriate technical staff support to address/rectify the issue

  • Team with the relevant internal teams/departments to resolve the customer issue and secure customer payment

  • Provide ongoing updates of client contact/client commitments, discuss negotiating strategy/possible alternatives, and review performance to date against the company’s standard metrics

  • Operationally-focused professional role, requiring experience or analytical advisor role still developing higher-level expertise

  • Solve a range of problems of mild-to-moderate complexity and scope by analyzing possible solutions using standard procedures

  • Exercise judgment within defined guidelines or known precedents

  • Seek guidance on unusual situations or circumstances where guidelines are unclear

  • Receive a moderate level of guidance and direction, with little or no direction on day-to-day assignments

  • Work is typically reviewed by a more experienced team member before being provided to senior leaders

  • A common career stabilization point (AKA the “full-contributor” level) for operationally-focused roles, whereas analytical advisor roles at this level are building knowledge of the subject-matter area, function/BU, company, products, and customers

Minimum Qualifications

  • Degree (Bachelor or above)

  • High proficiency in Japanese is a must (Japanese native preferred)

  • High proficiency in written/spoken English

  • Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, S/4, SFDC) an advantage

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in the following areas:

  • Accounts Receivables Management

  • Credit and Collections

  • Finance

  • Customer Support Services
