Proposed Schedule Includes:

Sunday - Thursday: 12:00am - 8:00am (additional $1.50/hour)

$2.00/hour differential applies to Sunday shift

Must be flexible for additional/adjusted hours/schedule

Summary:

Provides security/safety coverage through enforcement of established policies and procedures, and patrol and inspection functions to protect the NH Veterans Home (NHVH) against fire, theft, safety hazards and vandalism. Develops and provides training and oversight to Security Officer I positions on the security software system and cameras. Assists with the development and presentation of safety programs for residents and staff at the NH Veterans Home.

YOUR EXPERIENCE COUNTS

Each additional year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of required work experience and/or each additional year of approved work experience may be substituted for one year of required formal education.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or high school equivalency credential. Each additional year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of required work experience.

Experience: Two years experience in law enforcement work as a certified police officer or accepted certification by Police Standards and Training Council, or as a security officer, a correctional officer, active military or veteran with honorable discharge, or
