In this role you will be responsible for improving, maintaining, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve quality control, increase manufacturing efficiency that foster the commitment to innovation.
Perform hands-on troubleshooting with existing manufacturing equipment and processes
Lead and execute continuous improvement initiatives in cross functional teams
Develop, standardize, and optimize manufacturing processes
Active participant in new product launchings
Run manufacturing samples for customers
High level of participation in daily production activities and problem solving
Document manufacturing processes according to control system
Coordinate transfer of production lines and products.
Active participant in Kaizen Events
Develop, implement, and take ownership of process control methodologies.
Support improvement projects to reduce cycle time, defects and manufacturing costs
Support, develop training, and coordinate activities of junior engineers
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
Knowledge of industry quality standards including IATF16949
3+ years of experience in similar role
3+ Years of experience in the automotive industry
Strong knowledge in Troubleshooting Tools
Desirable: Experience working with rubber molding
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Desirable Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certifications
Continuous learning mindset and passion for improvement
