Summary
Prepare, record, verify and pay vendor invoices for goods and services on a timely basis, respond to vendor queries. Review invoices in SAP for legitimacy and accurate data, correct exception errors, communicate with Business Units, Procurement and vendors as needed, match lines on PO Invoices, Loads. Ensure external/ internal controls and policies are implemented.
What You'll Do
Reviews invoices in SAP for legitimacy, accurate data, corrects exception errors.
Communicate with business associates, approvers and Buyers. Train coders and approvers if necessary. Provide guidance for corrections required.
Process non-PO invoices, express payments, Net Power Accounting invoices, support fuel payment process. Processes payments – wires, ACH and printed checks.
Respond to vendor and business associate’s inquiries.

Accounts Payable experience preferred
Experience
At job entry, placement will be determined by a review of college transcripts and related work experience.
A minimum of 6 years of related experience is required for the senior level.
Once placed into the job family, an employee may become eligible for promotion by demonstrating the ability to perform advanced and more difficult work as determined by their management and meeting experience requirements.
Education
College level coursework (100+) related to the position from an accredited institution is preferred.
Hybrid Workplace
SRP currently offers a hybrid workplace, which allows employees whose jobs can be performed remotely, and who have sufficient technical capability, to telework up to three days per week. Although teleworking is available, all employees must live and work in Arizona.
