UL, LLC Senior Laboratory Technician in Taoyuan, Taiwan
Execute testing and experimental operations - sample inspection, instrument analysis, chemical analysis, battery disassembly, sample preparation and battery testing
Assist in developing new inspection and/or test methods, improving test methodology and procedure
Operation, inspection, calibration and maintenance of R&D battery laboratory equipment
Management of laboratory chemicals and equipment
Handling of lab 5S related activities
Other tasks assigned by supervisor(s)

Professional with laboratory testing experience, capable of independently operating instruments, analyzing data, and possessing excellent teamwork and communication skills. Battery industry experience and electrochemistry background preferred
Job Requirements:
Minimum two years of testing laboratory experience, able to independently operate related instruments and organize data
Eager to learn new technologies
Good communication skills, ability to convey technical information, willing to share ideas and provide constructive suggestions
Participate in team division of work according to R&D project requirements
Bonus Skills (Optional but good to have):
Basic knowledge of batteries and experience of related safety testing
Working experience in battery industries
Drawing skills (e.g. 3D printing)
Image analysis capabilities (e.g. computed tomography scanning)
Material and/or electrochemistry technical background
