Job description:

The Technology Business Analyst is responsible for establishing, formalizing, and maintaining relationships with business unit leaders within the Client environment that supply and/or consume data from our business unit. This individual will be responsible for generating emails, setting up meetings, building enquires regarding said relationship, and to set plans for our multi-disciplinary team. This individual will be required to communicate to multiple reports, each of whom have their own objectives and responsibilities. This role, in addition, will be responsible for bringing in new data feeds for the Client (AI) project. This includes all the above as well as, expanding the capacity of our current in-house application(s), recommending infrastructure and data structure improvements for this new program. It is expected that this person will have exceptional interpersonal stills, of which speaking to authority will be key.

Responsibilities:

• Establish and formalize relationships in and between departments where business critical dependencies have been identified.

• Lead integration between business units, this to include but not limited to generating emails, setting up meetings, building enquires regarding said relationship, and to set plans for our multi-disciplinary team.

• Provide strategic leadership for both infrastructure and data structure for emerging solutions.

• Provide input during development and implementation phases, including formulation and definition of systems scope, objectives, and necessary system enhancements.

• Identify and communicate risks and impacts and propose risk mitigation options, considering business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment.

• Consult with business Partners to determine system functional specifications and partner with multiple leadership teams to meet organizational objectives.

• Evaluate new IT needs along with evolving business requirements and recommend appropriate systems alternatives and/or enhancements to current systems by analyzing business processes, systems, and industry standards.

• Provide in-depth and deep dive analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems, develop innovative solutions and influence strategic functional decisions.

• Consult with business end users to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new projects and process enhancements.

• Assist system change processes from strategy through implementation by providing technical knowledge to ensure efficiency.

• Evaluate performance and make recommendations for pay increases, hiring, terminations and other personnel actions as duties as assigned, including performing quality control activities.

• Work with internal and external parties to achieve business goals and negotiate with external parties as needed.

• Provide evaluative judgments based on analysis of information in complicated and unique situations.

• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Client, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Qualifications:

• 4-10 years of experience

• Database and SQL

• MS Office, Visio, Design tools like Magic Draw, knowledge on Business Process Models (BPMN), any process modelling tool preferred.

• Experience with all phases of Software Development Life Cycle, Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Comprehensive knowledge of the principles of business analysis

• 3+ years of Technical Business Analyst experience

• 2+ years of experience in Agile/Scrum development methodology

• Strong verbal and written communications skills

• 2+ years of experience with SQL, relational database and datasets

• 2+ years working with cross-functional teams.

• 1+ years of experience working within an Agile development environment

• Proven interpersonal, collaboration, diplomatic, influencing, planning and organizational skills

• Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication

• Proven ability to effectively use complex analytical, interpretive and problem-solving techniques

• Proven relationship management skills to partner and influence across organizational lines

• Demonstrated ability to be work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines with proactive, decisiveness and flexibility

Education:

• Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
