Job Details : We are looking for a skilled Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing blueprints, calculating precise cuts, and selecting appropriate tools and materials. As a Machinist, you will operate various machines, ensure proper lubrication and cooling, detect and solve problems, and maintain high accuracy in all tasks.
Job Responsibilities:
Review electronic or written blueprints or specifications for a job.
Calculate where to cut or bore into workpieces made of materials such as steel, aluminum, titanium, plastic, or silicon.
Determine the feed rate and amount of material to remove.
Select tools and materials for the job, plan the sequence of cutting and finishing operations, and mark the workpiece for cuts.
Position the workpiece on the machine tool (drill press, lathe, milling machine, etc.), set controls, and make the cuts.
Monitor the feed rate and speed of the machine, ensuring the workpiece is properly lubricated and cooled.
Detect problems by listening for specific sounds, such as a dull cutting tool or excessive vibration, and replace dull tools as needed.
Adjust cutting speeds to compensate for harmonic vibrations, maintaining accuracy on high-speed spindles and lathes.
Operate lathes with up to 50-60 inches of swing and lengths up to 40 feet.
Operate mills with spindle diameters of 4-5-6 inches.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $37.00/hr.
