Positions in this family are involved in assessing training and organizational development needs, developing training programs, conducting training sessions & people management. Keeps abreast of various training delivery techniques, business processes, products, and systems. May also be involved in the design process. Training Supervisor typically reports to a Training Manager or a Senior Training Manager.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of trainers / learning partners to execute Capability Development team’s initiatives and meet goals

  • Conduct training for newly hired operational team members on core systems, processes, and applications

  • Define goals / KPIs aligned with the business goals and strategy and execute learning initiatives to meet these goals

  • Serve as a learning & development consultant to BU Heads, partner with Engagement managers to understand their learning and development requirements, plan and implement learning solutions that address their needs

  • Implement training plans in the engagements, drive performance and career management initiatives through individual development plans of employees

  • Analyze organizational learning needs through assessment of competency gaps, performance metrics, employee surveys and voice of the customer

  • Assist in building a learning & development curriculum based on the needs identified, aligned to the competency framework within the organization

  • Drive adoption of various learning solutions including classroom, e learning and new era innovative technology driven learning methodologies

  • Measure effectiveness and outcome of training solutions, justify ROI on training spends

  • Define learning & development metrics and create dashboards for Capability Development and present them in management reviews with actions for improvement

  • Develop content and design soft skills training modules focused on defined competencies and the audience requirements

  • Facilitate and deliver trainings on diverse leadership and professional skills for mid to senior managers in the organization

  • Ensure learning & development processes are aligned to the standard operating procedures achieve full compliance in internal and external audits

  • Manage new hire, refresher trainings and compliance based behavioral training to new and existing operations employees

  • Coach, counsel, and monitor trainers based on their needs

  • Robust communication & collaboration with the US counterparts and internal departments; Ops, HR, Quality

  • Responsible for ensuring audit guidelines adherence & readiness

  • Creates coaches/ mentors, and provide feedback to them on a regular basis

  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

  • US Registered Nurse with active mainland license OR

  • Philippine Registered Nurse with active license

  • At least 2 - 3 years Training Supervisor experience in a Clinical BPO set-up

  • Utilization Management experience

  • Process Specific Skills:

  • Experience in utilization management (pre-service, concurrent, and/or post service, appeals), has exposure to Medicare/MediCaid as well as commercial insurance, knowledgeable in guidelines (Interqual, MCG) and/or other insurance clinical guidelines/medical policies

  • Process Knowledge - demonstrate knowledge of product, process, tools and SOP knowledge inclusive of knowledge of applicable operational platforms (e.g., workflows, procedures, systems)

  • Experienced in US Healthcare Laws and Regulations

  • Technical Skills:

  • Proficient on general use of MS Applications - Word, Excel, Powerpoint, OneNote

  • Proficient use of MS Teams, WEB-ex and other video conferencing tools to conduct virtual training

  • Proficient on the use of training technology tools (Teams, KMs, Sharepoint)

  • Proficient on SOP creation, understanding flowcharts and gantts

  • Soft skills:

  • Proven excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Stakeholder Management for internal and external stakeholders

  • Time Management, task organization and prioritization

  • Should be adaptable to change and work seamlessly in ever changing environment

  • Working independently and in a team environment
