TrueBlue/PeopleReady HR Manager II in Tacoma, Washington

Responsible for aligning HR Strategy with Business Objectives. Operates as a strategic influencer to leadership and employees within the assigned client group(s), providing support and guidance in connecting people solutions to business need. Focusing on Organizational Design, Talent Management, Employee Engagement, Performance Management, Diversity and Inclusion and Human Capital Analysis to assist and drive the development, implementation and maintenance of human resources best practices, programs, and tools. Responsibilities/Duties Proactively collaborates with business leadership and employees to establish HR plans and solutions to achieve strategic business initiatives and deliver results. Knowledge of employment law, HR policies, procedures, compliance and practices and experience in developing, executing, and maintaining HR projects and programs. Partner with leaders at multiple levels and their teams to develop and execute Talent strategies and activities that foster attracting, developing and retaining a diverse group of employees. This includes implementing HR programs, processes, and tools to help set managers and employees up for success. Ensure business solution strategies are supported with the appropriate HR Centers of Excellence and shared services center. Partner with leadership to identify high potential employees and create development plans that incorporates the work and on the job experiences to expand the skillset of potential successors. Through innovation, automation and focus on the user, lead HR projects and initiatives that make positive impact across lines of business. Serve as a mentor and subject matter expert to HR colleagues; foster culture of learning by intentionally sharing knowledge and expertise with members of the HR team. Provide organizational support of the business and oversee HR projects that execute strategic priorities set by HR and senior leaders. Collaborate with HRBPs across TrueBlue and engage with others in HR to bring resolution and thought leadership to HR-related matters. Direct or participate in HR projects such as organizational transformation, diversity and inclusion initiatives, talent programs and employee engagement feedback survey results and drive the appropriate solutions in these areas. Leverage data and analytics to tell a compelling story on trends, Improving performance, retention, and the employee experience. Integrate DE&I capabilities within the client group and in programs as appropriate. Skills/Knowledge/Abilities Strong business acumen and ability to work well across different functions in offer to integrate HR and business strategies. Understand the business environment, strategy and people implications. Effective verbal/written communication and presentation skills. Strong business acumen and ability to work well with centers of excellence to drive HR priorities with the business Strategic Agility - Ability to see ahead clearly and articulate credible possibilities. Proven ability to diagnose problems using critical thinking skills and identify and drive appropriate solutions. Effective negotiation and conflict resolution skills as well as interpersonal and coaching skills. Able to work both on a team and independently to deliver results. Exceptional listening skills and ability to relate to, influence, and coach employees of all levels in the organization. Resilient and able to thrive in an organization that is growing and diverse. Contribute to and support the functions talent strategy with a focus on building a diverse pipeline and building organizational capability. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Experience/Education Bachelor's degree, Human Resources or related 8+ years of HR-related experience with at least three years as a HR Business Partner for a business unit or enterprise; or equivalent combination
