Position Overview

We are looking for a talented and innovative Data Scientist to join our team and focus on developing and optimizing Large Language Model (LLM) applications. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with machine learning and natural language processing (NLP), and a passion for leveraging data to create impactful solutions. This role requires technical expertise, creativity, and the ability to work collaboratively within a cross-functional team.

Responsibilities:

  • Model Development: Design, develop, and optimize LLM models to meet business objectives and improve user experiences.

  • Data Analysis: Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights and identify trends that can inform LLM application development.

  • Context Data Identification: Identify and curate the necessary context data to support and enhance LLM applications.

  • Algorithm Implementation: Implement and fine-tune machine learning algorithms to ensure high performance and accuracy of LLM models.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with software engineers, product owners, and business analysts to integrate LLM models into applications and systems.

  • Experimentation: Conduct experiments to test and validate model performance, and iterate on models based on findings.

  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of models, algorithms, and data pipelines.

  • Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and NLP technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve existing models and processes.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in data science, with a focus on machine learning and NLP applications.

  • Skills:

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.

  • Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face).

  • Strong understanding of LLM technologies and NLP techniques.

  • Hands-on experience with LLM models from providers like OpenAI, Google, or similar.

  • Knowledge of data processing and integration techniques.

  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with deploying AI models in production environments.

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).

  • Previous experience in a consulting or professional services environment.

  • Contributions to open-source AI/ML projects.
