Job Title: Field Technician
Job Description
The Field Technician is responsible for working in teams to build concrete structures in industrial facilities. They will collaborate with skilled workers to construct forms, pour concrete, and lay bricks. Tools used include trowels, levels, mixers, floats, hammers, screwdrivers, and more.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with skilled workers to build forms and pour concrete.
Perform bricklaying and masonry work.
Use various tools such as trowels, levels, mixers, floats, hammers, and screwdrivers.
Work in heavy industrial or commercial construction environments.
Lift up to 50lbs repeatedly and work on feet for 8+ hours a day.
Drive to work sites daily and maintain a valid driver's license.
Essential Skills
Previous experience in heavy industrial or commercial construction.
Ability to lift 50lbs repeatedly and work on feet for 8+ hours a day.
Valid driver's license and ability to drive to work sites daily.
Masonry skills.
Concrete work experience.
Carpentry skills.
General labor experience.
Experience with concrete form installation.
Welding skills.

Ample overtime opportunities with an average of 45-50 hours weekly. Mileage reimbursement at .58 cents a mile for travel outside of 40 miles. Meals and hotels paid for if traveling. High wage ceiling with skilled workers earning over $30.00 hourly before overtime after a few years of experience. Built-in days off for long projects, occasional shop work for 8 hours cleaning equipment, and hourly differentials for 2nd and 3rd shift work.
Work Environment
Work alongside a skilled lead in industrial construction settings. Standard hours are 7:30AM - 3:30PM, Monday to Friday, with potential weekend or off-shift work depending on the project. Be open to both. The work involves a large contract with an industrial company in Oswego for the next three years.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Syracuse, New York.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
