We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time and part-time Night Auditor to join our team at Australia’s largest hotel.

Located adjacent to Darling Harbour in Sydney's Central Business District (CBD), Hyatt Regency Sydney is a haven of relaxation for the business or leisure traveler. As Sydney's largest premium hotel, the hotel boasts 878 guestrooms, multiple dining experiences and event spaces. The hotel offers more than 3,700 sq m of sleek meeting and event space in the heart of the city featuring two spacious ballrooms with views of Darling Harbour and 22 additional meeting rooms.

The Role:

You will be joining an energetic and passionate team of associates who proudly represent the face of Hyatt Regency Sydney. As a night auditor in our busy Front Office Team, your main priority is to be the first point of contact for our guests and assist them with all enquiries to achieve and maintain the Hyatt 5-star service standards. This includes overseeing the overnight operations of the hotel such as verifying guest accounts, reconciling and balancing charges. You will also assist with some aspects of guest services, such as check-ins and check-outs. To be successful in this role, you will acquire a passion to be an exceptional service ambassador to our valued guests to ensure they have a relaxing stay.

Our ideal candidate will possess:

  • Have minimum 6 months experience within a 5-star hotel

  • Acquire strong problem-solving skills

  • Possess a friendly demeanour and excellent interpersonal relationship skills to be able to relate well with customers from diverse backgrounds

  • Anticipate guest’s needs through observation and offer prompt, efficient service either personally or through effective communication with other associates

  • Provide a professional customer service-friendly personality

  • Have excellent presentation and grooming

  • Proficient use with Opera

  • Be literate with computer programs

Responsibilities include:

  • Create memorable experiences for our guests through care and empathy

  • Be the first point of contact for guests and visitors

  • Assist with guest enquiries and recommendations

  • Taking reservations and maintaining guest accounts

  • Assist with the night audit process

  • Aid in the operations for the day team to ensure exceptional service is provided around the clock

  • Support the Night Manager with daily financial audits and any ad hoc tasks assigned to them by the Manager on Duty
