Job Title: Accounting ClerkJob Description

The Accounting Clerk plays a crucial role in supporting the organization's financial operations. This position involves a variety of tasks such as processing invoices, managing accounts payable and receivable, maintaining organized records, and contributing to financial reporting and compliance efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Timely input of receipts and resolution of complex collection issues.

  • Oversee the processing of payments and monitor overdue accounts.

  • Verify and process invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.

  • Ensure invoices are being sent to customers automatically, with manual input as needed.

  • Maintain organized financial documentation and filing systems.

  • Provide necessary support during internal and external audits.

  • Process employee reimbursements accurately and efficiently.

  • Collaborate with vendors, clients, and internal teams to resolve financial inquiries or issues.

  • Assist in preparing financial reports and statements.

  • Ensure all financial activities align with laws, regulations, and internal policies.

  • Accurately input financial data into accounting software.

  • Perform additional tasks to assist the finance department.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in accounting principles and practices.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel with pivot tables and v-lookups.

  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Quantum, Avsight, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.

  • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.

  • Capability to handle multiple assignments, set priorities, and adapt to shifting circumstances.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in an Accounting Clerk or similar position, preferably within the aviation industry.

  • Experience with ERP-integrated accounting systems is highly preferred.

  • A positive attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, and a commitment to professional development.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving issues.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
