Google Technical Program Manager, Cloud AI and Industry Solutions in Sunnyvale, California

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 8 years of experience in program management.

  • 8 years of experience with machine learning.

  • Experience with language models.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 8 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.

  • 6 years of experience with project management in a lead role working with engineering teams spread across multiple geographies and time zones.

  • Experience in Google Cloud and/or other cloud technologies & launches.

  • Experience driving AI/ML program life-cycles from concept to deployment and monitoring.

  • Experience building applications.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $183,000-$271,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Manage work streams including requirements gathering and risk assessment.

  • Work with researchers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define and prioritize features and capabilities across various workstreams.

  • Manage multiple projects of moderate to high scope.

  • Develop recommendations that translate into a course of action.

  • Design, implement, and build operational processes that help the teams/organizations scale.
