Robert Half Accounts Payable Specialist in Sugar Creek, Missouri
Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented individual for the role of an Accounts Payable Clerk in the Sugar Creek, MO area. This role primarily involves maintaining accurate records, processing vendor invoices, and resolving vendor statement issues.
Responsibilities:
• Tracking and accurately matching raw material receivers to invoices
• Efficiently tracking and matching operating expense receivers to purchase orders and invoices
• Accurate data entry of vendor invoices into the accounts payable system
• Reviewing, researching, and resolving any vendor statement issues in a timely manner
• Processing the weekly accounts payable check run
• Managing vendor maintenance requests
• Undertaking any other duties assigned by management.
Skills:
• Proficiency in accounts payable tasks
• Ability to enter vendor invoices
• Proficiency in data entry
• Ability to reconcile vendor statements.
Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role or similar position within the Stone/Glass/Concrete Manufacturing industry
• Proficient in Accounts Payable (AP) processes, including vendor management and invoice processing
• Experience in entering vendor invoices accurately and timely into the accounting system
• Proficient in data entry with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to reconcile vendor statements, resolve discrepancies, and maintain strong vendor relationships
• Strong computer skills, particularly in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Professional integrity and discretion in handling confidential financial information.
