As a Quality Technician you will:

  • Coordinate quality related new product development activities with Process and Design Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing and other stakeholders.

  • Coordinate, develop and submit customer PPAP information: DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans, MSA studies, Capability analysis using Minitab etc.

  • Measure product for First Article, Gage R & R, and Capability Studies as required using CMM, Romer Arm, Microview and standard hand gages.

  • Work with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to resolve quality issues.

  • Work with quality supervisors to submit corrective actions to customers and other external stakeholders.

  • Support activities relating to the Quality Management System development, implementation, and verification.

  • Complete material review board dispositions on defective products and conduct incoming inspections on supplied materials.

Shifts

First shift 6:00am-2:30pm- Flexible

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of quality experience in a fabrication manufacturing environment

  • Use of quality tools and principles such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, DOE, and SPC

  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and understand geometric dimension and tolerancing (GD&T)

  • Experience using measurement devices such as Romer Arm, CMM, and hand gauges

Pay rate $23-26/hour
