Stroudsburg Family Dental Registered Dental Assistant in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania
We are a family oriented, one doctor, general dental practice looking to add to our team. We are hiring a experienced Dental Assistant. The candidate must be hard working, dependable, motivated team player with a friendly demeanor.
Duties: Assisting the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures; taking dental x-rays-asking about the patient's medical history and taking blood pressure and pulse-serving as an infection control officer and developing infection control protocol-preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment-set up and clean up of all operatories, lab, sterilization areas and other areas of office-providing patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures such as the placement of a restoration-taking impressions-pour models-preparing cases for lab-managing lab cases-communication with patients and suppliers (scheduling appointments, answering the telephone and ordering supplies)-taking impressions and fabricating temporary crowns-administering teeth whitening-assisting/maintenance of Solea Laser.
Office hours Monday and Tuesday-8:30an to 5pm, Wednesday-Occasional, Thursday-9:30am-6:00pm.
