Mechanical Assembler - $19 an hour
Stockton, CA
Responsibilities
Assembles of mechanical components (sheet metal and machine parts, hardware, rivets, and purchased mechanical components) into higher level products.
Follow written or electronic assembly instructions which may be in the form of “MPI”s”
(Manufacturing Process Instructions), blueprints, and verbal instructions.
Uses primarily hand tools for assembly, including mechanical tools such as manual, electric, and pneumatic screwdrivers, wrenches, and riveters.
Sets up parts in work area, selects tools required to complete the operation.
Assures accurate logging of labor hours and accurate part quantities into Visual Manufacturing ERP
Ensure proper handling and stacking of parts to avoid damage.
Job Requirements
Requires 1 year of recent assembly work.
Experienced with hand tools
Resume related to required responsibilities
Ability to:
Read, write and perform basic arithmetic problems.
Use basic hand, electric, and pneumatic tools used in performing specific operator requirements.
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
Alternative Work Schedule: Monday to Thursday on swing shift 1 PM – 11:40 PM (4 days and 10 hours equaling a 40-hour work week)
