What you would do as our Platform Quality Manager - Global Web

In this role, you will be part of delivering best-in-class customer experiences for many of the ASSA ABLOY brands and you will have full flexibility to control how quality assurance is made part of the day-to-day activities of the software development team.

You would also:

  • Define and enforce team quality standards, including strategies, testing methods, tools, and frameworks.

  • Monitor quality over time and drive QA culture within the cross-functional development team.

  • Oversee and ensure efficient functional testing during the software development cycle.

  • Automate regression testing to reduce manual effort.

  • Define and follow up on performance testing (backend and frontend) for optimal user experience.

  • Define and follow up on load testing and security tool findings to meet standards.

  • Coach QA engineers for continuous improvement and conduct testing and debugging as needed.

  • Identify recurring issues and recommend solutions, while remaining adaptable in an agile environment.

    The skills and experience you need

    We are looking for a self-driven person that can take a holistic responsibility for the quality of our external websites. You initiate and drive initiatives until they’re implemented. Experience in quality assurance, test automation, performance testing, load testing, and a general interest in security is beneficial, but what matters most is your enthusiasm for agile development and quality.

    We are looking for someone who:

  • Reliable and trustworthy, with a proven ability to get things done

  • A minimum of three years of proven experience as a quality assurance manager or relevant role

  • Great understanding of software testing and debugging best practices

  • Great attention to detail and a result driven approach

  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels in English

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban and working in cross-functional teams

  • Ability to teach and mentor

  • A bachelor’s or associate degree
