Job Summary and Qualifications
POSITION SUMMARY: A General Maintenance Technician will perform general maintenance and repairs for assigned facilities, areas, and equipment to include minor plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, painting, heating and cooling and other building systems. An ideal candidate will be versed in many aspects of hospital maintenance and repairs, with knowledge of maintenance procedures, and use of basic hand and power tools. To excel in this position you must be an outstanding problem solver with exceptional communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
Ability to complete minor electrical repair work , which includes bulb replacements, ballast swaps, etc.
Ability to complete minor HVAC tasks, which includes checking hot/cold calls, change out PTAC units, filter replacements
Ability to complete normal clean up duties, which includes sweeping, dusting, mopping, and vacuuming.
Ability to use various basic hand and power tools

What qualifications you will need:
Experience
- 3 Years of relevant maintenance work experience in the healthcare/hospital setting preferred
Education:
- Certificate in a building trade, building maintenance technology or relevant field preferred
