Responsibilities:
Social Media Strategy Development: Create and continually refine a forward-thinking social media strategy to build brand loyalty among orthodontists, residency programs, and suppliers.
Audience Identification: Analyze target audiences (demographics, needs, and interests) to guide the content strategy, content calendar, and community engagement efforts.
Content Creation & Curation: Produce high-quality content, including social media copy, graphics, videos, infographics, polls, testimonials, and live streams. Curate valuable external content and encourage member-generated contributions.
Community Engagement: Actively interact with online communities by initiating conversations, responding to comments and messages, and maintaining an energetic online presence.
Social Listening & Monitoring: Monitor conversations related to the AAO, identify key influencers, and manage both positive and negative feedback.
Trend Analysis: Stay current with social media trends, integrating them into the strategy to ensure relevance and innovation.
Analytics & Reporting: Track social media performance using analytics tools to assess engagement efforts, identify areas for improvement, and demonstrate return on investment (ROI).
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
7+ years of experience in social media management, with at least 3 years focused on strategy development and loyalty-building.
Expertise in creating and executing social media strategies on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter (X), TikTok, and LinkedIn.
Hands-on experience with content creation, including copywriting, graphic design, and video editing.
Strong proficiency in data analysis and using analytics tools to measure performance and adjust strategies.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal teams, influencers, and community members.
Experience with social media management platforms to schedule content, monitor conversations, and track performance.
Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and the ability to manage multiple social media channels end-to-end.
Report on-site 2 days/week.
