Actalent Drafter/designer in St. Cloud, Minnesota
Job Title: AutoCAD DrafterJob Description
Our Client is seeking an AutoCAD drafter to join their dynamic design team. Specializing in fire protection needs, the team handles design, services, inspections, and installations of systems, primarily for multi-family mixed-use buildings. The drafter will collaborate with project managers and engineers to design and layout projects, creating construction documents for installation teams using AutoCAD and occasionally Revit.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to design and layout fire protection projects.
Create construction documents using AutoCAD for installation teams.
Work on multi-family mixed-use building projects.
Occasionally use Revit for specific projects.
Ensure projects are completed accurately and on time.
Participate in field visits to job sites for quality control and project checks.
Essential Skills
1+ years of experience in AutoCAD, either through schooling or industry.
1+ years of drafting experience.
6+ months of experience in mechanical design.
Experience with hydracad and sprinkler systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Background in an A&E firm or interest in buildings and construction industry is a plus.
Previous experience with Revit is a plus.
Willingness to learn and grow within the field and industry.
Work Environment
This is a full-time office position, working closely with engineers and project managers to ensure project accuracy and timely completion. Occasional field visits to job sites for quality control may be required. There is an opportunity for training in Revit and professional growth within the company.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
