Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Clerk to join our team based in Spring, Texas. The role involves processing sales and purchase orders, handling complex billing tasks, and providing sales support.
Our client located in The Woodlands, TX is seeking an Accounting Clerk. The Accounting Clerk must have 3+ years of experience, must be extremely detail oriented and must be a team player. The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for entering Sales Orders and Purchase Orders as well as Billing. The Billing is very complex and requires extreme detail. The ideal candidate will also have experience with sales tax. Experience with NetSuite is a plus.
Responsibilities:
• Accurate and efficient processing of sales orders
• Handling and entering purchase orders
• Managing complex billing procedures
• Providing support for sales-related activities
• Ensuring compliance with sales tax regulations
• Utilizing NetSuite and Microsoft Excel for various tasks
• Maintaining detailed and accurate records of all transactions
• Working collaboratively within the team to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements • Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience as an Accounting Clerk or in a similar role
• Proficiency in using NetSuite accounting software
• Demonstrable experience in handling billing processes and systems
• Proficient in managing and processing purchase orders
• Prior experience in providing sales support
• Knowledge and understanding of sales tax regulations and procedures
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, vlookups, and complex formulas
• Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• A degree in Accounting, Finance or related field would be advantageous
