ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Assemble fire hydrants, underground valves and related products Assemble fire hydrants and underground valves. Ensure all components are correctly aligned, secured and tested for functionality. Accuracy and attention to detail are crucial as these products are safety related. Electrostatic painting applying electrically charged paint ensuring a durable and even coating to required specifications. Applying primer and paint with automated and manual paint equipment safely. Safety measures are critical, as electrostatic painting involves working with specialized equipment and handling potentially hazardous materials. Operate fork truck and other powered industrial equipment moving heavy materials and assembled products within the shop floor and yard with sit down and stand up forklifts. This requires training in safe operation, knowledge of weight limits, and awareness of safety protocols to prevent accidents Janitorial duties this involves basic cleaning to ensure a safe, efficient and organized work environment.
