Job Title: Union Payroll Specialist

Job Description

As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and processing payroll for both union and non-union employees. You will enter, review, and process payroll, handle direct deposits, generate payroll reports, and maintain accurate employee information. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with union agreements and government regulations, manage data related to EEO reporting, and maintain detailed records for auditing and reporting purposes. Administrative duties, including document scanning, are also part of the role.

Hard Skills

  • Experience with SAGE or similar ERP systems

  • Union payroll processing

  • Intermediate skills in Excel

  • Experience in communicating with DOT

This is a fully on-site position in South River, New Jersey.

Work Environment

Join a family-owned heavy highway construction company, predominately working on government projects, including port authority and turnpike constructions. The role involves complying with DOT regulations and managing a significant workload in a collaborative environment.
