Job Title: Production Associate
Job Description
The Yard Team Member is responsible for the final movement of all pre-cast concrete pieces at the plant. They use industrial sized equipment to load, offload, and transfer all pre-cast pieces. They are the final step in the pre-cast process before getting installed at the job site. The Yard Team Member works in all-weather climates and relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job while meeting company safety, quality, and productivity targets.
Responsibilities
Load, offload, and transfer pre-cast concrete pieces using industrial sized equipment.
Perform the final movement of pre-cast concrete pieces before installation at the job site.
Follow instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform job functions.
Meet company safety, quality, and productivity targets.
Essential Skills
1 year of general labor experience.
Ability to operate a forklift.
Experience in general production and concrete handling.
Ability to read a tape measure.
Capability to bend repetitively.
Basic math skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Must be over 18 to apply.
Possess a team-centered attitude.
Eager to learn and grow.

Work Environment
Work is Monday-Friday with shifts as follows: 1st Shift 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, 2nd Shift 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM, and 3rd Shift starting at 12:00 AM and ending between 8-10 AM. Some Saturdays are required. Pay increases occur at 6 months ($20.35) and 12 months ($23.23). The environment can be very hot or cold depending on the weather, with work both indoors and outdoors as needed. The facility consists of huge buildings with large equipment, which may be overwhelming for some. PPE including steel-toed boots, safety glasses, and hard hats (provided by the company) are required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of South Beloit, Illinois.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.75 - $23.23/hr.
