Core Responsibilities
Drive cross team including quality engineer and tooling engineer and supplier for element development
Review the element quality from novelty and advise supplier to initiate the corrective action in order to meet LEGO specification
Provide the technical solution to element design
Drive the assigned special project individually with limited mentor from Engineering Manager
Drive tight-knit collaboration with internal and external teams as well as suppliers
Play your part in our team succeeding!
Always in mind to work as one team and good balance between flexibility and limited resource. Global approach is must and able to build up the good networking among EU office, PEM office and EU/Asia suppliers.
Always flexible to different collaborators especially work with Element designer in Billund and need to have a good balance in between element appearance and design for manufacturing (DFM). Not only meticulous on customer focus but also the result oriented.
Work closely with local engineering manager and project team in headquarter on element approval, which is a phenomenal opportunity to enrich the engineering background.
Do you have what it takes?
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Manufacturing/ Chemical Engineering or related field.
Strong technical background in theory and practice preferred
Rich trouble-shooting practice in product/element design (prototype, CAD drawing etc.), molding (injection), and assembling
At least 5 years working in R&D or ENG department is required
All in all, the candidate need to well know the whole development process and always conscientious about the common goal in the team.
Familiar in mold design preferred
Familiar in product design (prototype, CAD drawing etc.), molding (injection), and assembling preferred
Familiar in 3D modeling software (NX, UG, Pro-E etc)
