We are looking for a colleague with Purchasing Operator/Material Planning skills to join our Purchasing team.
Your future role:
Carry out purchasing activities for direct materials
Implementation of the procurement process in compliance with the specified requirements
Maintaining security of supply
Conversion of "technically clarified" requirements / purchase requisitions into orders on the basis of the contracts, catalogs, etc. concluded and stored by the strat. Purchasing concluded and stored contracts, catalogs, etc.
Plausibility check of the reported requirements as part of the work task
Deadline tracking
Clarification of deviations (e.g. order confirmation, delay, payment terms) and escalation for identified issues (material shortages)
Initiating the necessary clarifications (delivery and service) as part of work cycle processing
Checking material availability in the SAP system
Submitting suggestions for improvement to optimize operational procurement processes and their implementation
Selection of suitable suppliers specified by strat. Purchasing, obtaining quotations, analyzing product, price and supplier information, etc.
Conducting purchasing negotiations in accordance with defined value limitsor after coordination with the Head of Purchasing / product group manager and documentationof purchasing successes
Further development of operational procurement processes (e.g. digitalization) in coordination with management
Report regular statistical reports and analysis as requested
Define and implement procedures on Purchasing department
What you bring:
3 years of experience in purchasing/logistics
Technical flair and understanding of product drawings.
Good negotiation skills, with experience in material planning.
Good analytical skills, fast and effective at dealing with difficult situations.
Knowledge of MS Office and SAP.
Fluent in English language, German would be an advantage.
Price and material knowledge in the assigned procurement area
Knowledge of the basics of scheduling
Basic knowledge of strategic purchasing
Knowledge of inventory valuation
Achieves savings through negotiations
