WHAT YOU WILL DO:

The General Laborer will be responsible for supporting the production process. You will assist in general responsibilities throughout the facility. Shop Assistant will have the opportunity to operate countless power tools and other equipment to support departments such as grinding, packaging, dot marking, polishing of parts, wood cutting, assembly of purchased products, and light facility maintenance. They will also receive training and certification in operating a forklift and drum grabber equipment. The baseline of this position is to assure product is moving through the pipeline while also maintaining a safe and clean workplace -- performing whatever task necessary to achieve this. Note that this position will give individuals exposure to an abundance of aspects and capacities within metal fabrication and production assembly, meaning that no day will likely be the same in terms of routine tasks.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

· Cutting raw material (metal) for CNC production lines

· De-burring and polishing of machined parts

· Dot Marking identification on all parts coming from Machine Shop

· Quality inspect and measuring parts to the print

· Cut wood for crating machines in preparation for shipments

· Assist with loading and unloading trucks

· Complete all required production and quality paperwork neatly

· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results

· Other duties as necessary

Requirements

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

· High School Diploma or GED

· Experience working in a production environment preferred

· Basic computer and office 365 knowledge

· Solid judgment and decision making
