Job Title: Lab TechnicianJob Description
Join our Quality Assurance team to support production in our main plant, directly working within the Science & Technology lab, but separate from the R&D team. As a Lab Technician, you will conduct tests and analyze products to determine various characteristics such as strength, tensile, and chemical content, documenting all results meticulously. Your tasks will involve manufacturing fiberglass reinforced composites using various techniques like vacuum assisted resin transfer molding (VARTM), polymer impregnation of fibers, and more. This role involves significant hands-on work, including building samples from provided resins and yarns, and requires lifting 40-50 lbs regularly. Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Shelby, North Carolina.
Work Environment
Lab environment with strong safety regulations. This is a Monday-Friday day shift position, with occasional overtime. Candidates will work with fiberglass, various organic chemicals, and complex composite production machinery for eight-hour shifts.
