In this position, the schedule is 8 hours per day, working a 2-2-3 schedule. Summer hours for the Line Service Tech position is expected to be anywhere between 5:30 AM and 9:30 PM. Winter is somewhere between 6:30 AM and 5:30 PM. You would be on a rotating schedule where you would work every other Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Essential Duties Provide services, including lavatory and water service, towing, de-icing, greeting pilots and passengers, marshalling and parking, dispensing fuel into aircraft, and wing-walking. Perform duties and greet pilots and passengers with a welcoming, friendly attitude. Perform daily fuel truck inspections. Ensure fuel trucks and other FBO-related equipment are operating properly and safely. May perform light repair duties as necessary. Assist with baggage and transporting pilots and passengers. Perform daily fuel farm inspections and maintain a superior level of fuel quality control. Assist Airport Maintenance Technicians with duties as needed. Duties may include wildlife mitigation, building repair, cleaning, lawn cutting, landscaping maintenance, removing ice and snow from airside and landside pavement areas, unloading freight and stocking areas, performing airfield inspections, inspecting mechanical systems as needed and assisting in ensuring deficiencies are corrected. Promotes safety in all areas of FBO and Airport operations by understanding and complying with all operational and safety requirements. Maintain clean and secure ramp areas. Assist in emergency response as needed. Communicates information using aviation phonetic alphabet to clearly speak and hear numerical sequences over two-way radio system. Address incoming pilots via two-way radio system and provide direction when Customer Service Assistant is unable to do so. Possesses sufficient knowledge of the FBO\'s organization, policies, and personnel to exercise independent judgement as expected by management. Performs other duties as may be assigned. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: High school graduate or equivalent. Post high school courses related to required technical skills or related experience. Must be able to satisfactorily complete Line Service Technician training provided by the FBO fuel supplier within thirty (30) days of employment. Must be able to complete the National Air Transportation Association\'s Safety 1 st program within six (6) months of employment. Basic computer skills. Familiarity with aeronautical regulations and operations preferred. A current, valid State of Wisconsin driver\'s license.
