VF Corporation Senior Manager, Digital Marketing (Timberland APAC) in Shanghai, China

Key Purpose of the Job:

This role will support the line manager to ensure development and implementation of winning brand and Digital MKTG strategies with a focus on China.

The role will need to collaborate closely with Global Digital MKTG team, China Ecommerce team, RBE, Brand marketing, Product, and Sales Team to drive integrated marketing impact at brand and sales levels. Among them, the most important two functions for sales impact are Ecommerce and RBE (Retail Brand Experience).

The focus of his/her scope will be:

  • Brand digital strategy short term and long term in line with brand strategies and objectives

  • Focus on elevating social media presence + engagement.

  • Single point of contact to OMD for integrated marketing needs (in collaboration with Digital Hub)

  • Integrated planning for marketing campaigns and digital consumer activations/ initiatives

  • Support Ecommerce digital marketing strategy and implementation.

  • Support big data integration strategy and implementation in collaboration with CRM

  • Digital consumer connection asset leveraging and development (global adoption/adaptation and local creation)

  • Digital data analysis and recommendation

  • Stand up a KOS strategy and playbook in partnership with the marketplace sales team

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Assist marketing head to Formulate 5-year plan, marketing strategies, annual budget, action plans, annual MKTG calendar and monthly updates to meet biz and brand needs.

  • Own and prepare digital marketing budget and optimize budget to be spent effectively and ensure all projects are completed to brief on time and within budget.

  • Partner with Ecommerce as a platform to connect consumer buzz and brand experience to commercial platforms helping drive day to day collaboration between Digital marketing and Ecommerce teams.

  • Help to implement a KOS strategy and toolkit to the marketplace team.

  • Deliver annual integrated digital marketing calendar with big stories and always on stories/engagement.

  • Work closely with cross-function teams to drive focused impact of marketing initiatives on social and digital channels

  • Marketing activity effectiveness analyses through internal analyses based on KPI, dash board, etc

  • Report campaign/initiative results and build up internal buy-in, confidence, and sense of pride about the brand. Promote new digital learning/trend to bigger team.
