Join us and let's Imagine a better way together.Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Position Summary Compliance Specialist is tasked with ensuring that Imagine, Twin Cities follows any relevant regulations and standards. They function as an independent and objective body that reviews and evaluates compliance issues/concerns within the organization. Works to maintain all company rules, regulations, policies, and procedures as they pertain to Safety, Security, Environment, Sustainability, and Health. Works closely with all levels of management and employees as a technical reference in maintaining a safe and healthy workplace.Environmental Health and Safety Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Manage regulatory compliance program for waste management, water discharge, Tier II, SPCC, and Safety Data Sheet requirements. Maintain all necessary environmental permits, orders, and other legal, regulatory or customer requirements, including monitoring performance against permit conditions. Timely compile materials for license renewals, updates, and registrations. Assist with maintaining site regulatory documents. Ensure and support Hazmat/Environmental Waste regulation compliance. Manage and track Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV) training, records, and licensing. Assure all required regulatory and permit-required reports are accurately completed and submitted on time. Assist in annual safety training and new employee safety orientation sessions. Assist in the creation and implementation of health and safety programs and policies. Review proposed occupational safety policies, guidelines, and standards to determine their consistency with accepted principles and practices and recommends changes as needed. Track monthly water, gas, electricity usage as well as materials recycled and landfilled for ESG purposes. Manage the employee roster (hires and terminations) for the facility. Customer Compliance - Partnering with Account Management to: Support internal and external audits and client relationship management. Provide responses to customer audit reports and customer questionnaires. Manage all External Vendor or Regulatory Audits. Interface with the FDA to ensure that Imagine meets requirements for a food facility registration. Manage the site's UL listing requirements. Respond to USMCA tariff classification. Coordination of Repositrak requests as well as inputting required information when requested. Report to leadership concerning compliance to laws, regulations, and standards. Initiate action in dealing with noncompliance situations, creating plans to address issues. Security Assist with managing the site security system via badge creation, access control, and video capabilities. Assist with security incident investigations through video and access control review. All other duties as assigned. Competencies: Drives innovation and change. Risk assessment skills. QUALIFICATIONS: High school degree or GED required. Bachelor's degree preferred. 5+ year related experience. Expertise in federal/state environmental regulations and legislation. Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, FDA, AIB, FSC, ISO, GMP and customer ethic audits. Demonstrated lead rship ability and communication skills. Above average proficiency in Microsoft Suite office programs The national pay range for this role is $55,000- $73,000/year. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
