Providence St. Joseph Health Supervisor Substance Use Disorder Professionals - SUDP in Seattle, Washington

Description Clinical Supervisor - Substance Use Disorder Professionals (Swedish Ballard, Full Time - Day Shift) $3,000 hiring bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment. Responsible for coordinating the provision of counseling services as required to meet patient needs. In this role, the supervisor is expected to provide patient care. Additionally, the supervisor will review the work of other Chemical Dependency Professionals (CDPs) for quality and acceptability. This position is also responsible for utilization review functions and staff within ARS. Responsible for operational activities necessary to maintain the Utilization Review and CDP work groups. Such work will include scheduling, timekeeping and providing input to manager regarding CDP and UR staff performance. The work will include recommendations to the manager regarding design and delivery of counseling support to the patients. This role collaborates with caregivers from other disciplines to ensure patient care is integrated. The supervisor reports directly to the department manager. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree In a human services or related field Upon hire: Washington Substance Use Disorder Professional License 3 years Recent addictions counseling experience in a state approved addiction treatment facility. Preferred Qualifications: Master's Degree Social work, psychology, sociology, or other behavioral science field. Upon hire: NCACII (National Certification Addictions Counseling Level II) Or Upon hire: ICADC (International Certification Alcohol Drug Counselor) 2 years Clinical oversight experience.
