Robert Half Accounts Receivable Clerk in Seattle, Washington
Description We are offering a role in the logistics industry, based in Seattle, Washington. The function of this role is an Accounts Receivable Clerk, where you will play a key role in managing and processing all cash receipts and maintaining accurate records of transactions. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately process and record transactions including cash, checks, and electronic payments
• Apply customer payments by recording transactions from various methods - cash, checks, and credit cards
• Detect and resolve any discrepancies or irregularities in accounting records
• Assist with monthly reconciliation of accounts and preparation of detailed reports
• Secure confidential information by thoroughly following the company’s information security procedures
• Regularly update the accounts receivable ledger to ensure all transactions are appropriately documented and accounted for
• Cooperate with the other departments and function as a supportive team member
• Use skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing, Cash Applications, Cash Collections, Commercial Collections, Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to execute duties effectively. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Familiarity with Billing procedures
• Knowledge of Cash Applications
• Experience in Cash Collections
• Proficiency in Commercial Collections
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Oracle software
• Proficiency in QuickBooks
• Experience with SAP software
