​Microsoft Security, Compliance, Identity, Management and Privacy is a key growth area for the business. As the Microsoft sr. Security Go-To-Market manager you will have a pivotal end-to-end accountability for the Security business in the Netherlands. This includes building a network, planning, execution, and governance, and teamwork with the existing security GTM team.

You will translate Security strategy and objectives into clear, discrete and executable plans for our market, and compose an integrated business plan across sales, marketing, partners and customer engineering disciplines, working across multiple stakeholders to deliver the best customer and partner experience possible. And finally, you will land these plans to realize revenue, growth, share and strategic market outcomes, and be the ambassador for Microsoft Security.

Responsibilities

Business Management

  • Develops and executes business strategy on our (Cloud) Security portfolio and tracks plan efficacy to drive sustainable growth within and beyond the fiscal year.

  • Accepts accountability for revenue and KPIs , identifying strategic priorities and driving alignment across the business.

  • Partners with senior leadership to align with area/subsidiary goals and drive business priorities for One Microsoft orchestration .

  • Aligns the various Security sales motions into an integrated strategy and story.

  • Leads regular cadence of connections with corporate HQ to execute strategic planning and acts as the primary representative from the field.

  • Utilizes insights on key business aspects and execution rigor to drive field performance and contributes to sales and marketing tools development.

Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy, Planning, and Delivery

  • Leads definition and orchestration of strategic GTM plans across the business, inclusive of marketing, field, consulting, customer success, and partner functions.

  • Partners with Global Partner Solution (GPS) to guide program development and execution for partner recruitment and enablement.

  • Works collaboratively with internal partners to develop and track the appropriate KPIs to understand performance and drive insights.

  • Orchestrates a rhythm of the business (ROB) for ongoing measurement of KPIs against revenue and targets.

  • Aligns and monitors investment impact and growth opportunities across partners, building and landing growth plans.

  • Leads and orchestrates functional teams in understanding and executing market strategy and customer segmentation, prioritizing impact over activity .

Business Development

  • Identifies and pursues long-term growth opportunities and investment plans that are not immediately obvious or currently being utilized.

  • Matches market opportunities with the company's strengths to create strategies that improve overall business performance.

  • Engages with executives to develop actionable strategies and oversees the rollout of solutions that have a significant impact and grow market share.

  • Ensures solutions meet local needs in the Netherlands, including compliance with local regulations and programs.

Product Advocacy

  • Create a network of customer CISO/security professionals where Microsoft is positioned as thought leader

  • Acts as the product and technical advocate , evangelizing Security, Compliance, Identity, Management and Privacy.

  • Leverages expertise and knowledge to develop competitive strategy , position the value proposition , and tailor messaging for internal and external audiences.

  • Identifies strategies for cross-selling and attach points across product/service areas.

  • Provides guidance to sales in customer engagements and counsels partner practice leads.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in relevant security field or equivalent experience.

  • 10+ years proven experience in Cybersecurity , especially within the Dutch market.

  • 7+ years’ experience managing and expanding a product/solution portfolio and driving demand generation and pipeline acceleration within a complex (e.g., multinational or matrixed) organization

  • Having a strong security network in The Netherlands - for example among CISO's or security partners

  • Solid understanding of Microsoft’s security portfolio , Modern SOC, AI/Automation, and Cloud Security market dynamics.

  • Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating the local competitive landscape and developing local compete strategies.
