We are looking for an experienced and engaged Global Sustainability Senior Program Manager who could join us from Hamburg, Amsterdam, Schindellegi, or any major European city.

The Global Sustainability Senior Program Manager is responsible for bringing our Sustainability program to the next level. He/she develops and maintains best-in-class global sustainable initiatives and solutions and a structured, standardized deployment. Provides leadership and skills in the network by mentoring, training, coaching, and leading by example. He/she leads and sponsors strategic and innovative projects on environmental and social topics and helps both our customers and operations to achieve Sustainable goals. Creating a sustainable future towards Net-Zero is at the core of our company’s belief and is an integral part of everyone’s daily activities.
The Global Program Manager is a trendsetter and helps our teams to overachieve their expectations on the Living ESG roadmap. The role involves stakeholder management and support to all various external and internal players in sustainability, such as operations, partnerships with external parties, customers, continuous improvement, QSHE, facility, procurement, and corporate ESG.
Ihre Aufgaben und Verantwortlichkeiten
Collaborate with senior leadership, operations, sales and customers to design and implement low-carbon, energy/water efficient logistics solutions (e.g. during deep dive events);
Define & deploy Sustainability standards and methodologies such as Carbon calculators, energy optimization software (Volt), plastic-free assessments in 400+ sites ;
Co-shape Sustainability commercial policies and marketing materials;
Conduct webinars, training sessions in order to reach cluster and national self-sustainability ;
Engage with external partners to foster collaboration on sustainability innovations;
Build a base for future skills within the different communities supporting the company’s journey;
Liaise with external partners providing sustainability products and services, like robotic AI methods in operations and sustainable materials;
Facilitate and lead Living ESG audits;
Collection and sharing of Best Practices on our communication platform;
Work with Global, Cluster, and National Leaders and liaise with Senior Operational management to maximize results and achieve our ambitions.
Diese Qualifikation sollten Sie mitbringen
Experienced within the logistics industry, focused on Contract Logistics (preferred), with a minimum of 5 years;
Background in Project and program management, sustainability, and improvement;
Proven training and coaching skills, and ability to lead workshops and events;
Bachelor's or Master's education, in engineering (preferred);
Computer literate with technology and data science skills (computer networking, databases, data visualization);
Fluent in English. Any other language is a plus;
Availability to travel. (minimum 20% of time)
