Job Title: Field Service Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Field Service Engineer to install and service Machinery. This role will primarily involve traveling to various customer facilities, mostly within the regional areas with rare international travel. The position will operate out of Schaumburg, IL, and requires excellent customer service skills and technical expertise in electronics or electro-mechanical systems.
Responsibilities
Travel to customers' facilities to install, service, and perform basic training on company machinery.
Troubleshoot electronic and mechanical problems on-site using proper testing equipment such as a multimeter or oscilloscope.
Examine customer complaints regarding equipment malfunction and service issues, and communicate technical analysis and determinations to customers and internal management.
Document all work done in a legible and technically sound manner.
Essential Skills
2 Year Technical Degree in Electronics/Electro-Mechanical or equivalent experience with service/installation of capital machinery.
75% domestic travel, primarily regional
Strong customer service skills.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $72800.00/yr.
